Backend Developer (Senior+)

EVEDEX is a hybrid trading exchange, combining the best of CeFi and DeFi to create a seamless trading experience. This is an opportunity to work on a high-performance, low-latency trading platform in a fast-growing Web3 environment. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of key backend components and ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize order book matching engines, trading engines, REST & WebSocket APIs.
• Build high-performance backend systems to support both institutional and retail traders.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient backend architecture for high-frequency trading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance the platform.
• Continuously optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Blockchain experience is a must – previous work on Web3 projects, smart contract integration, or trading platforms.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, Docker.
• Deep understanding of low-latency financial software and high-frequency trading environments.
• Ability to work in a high-load, fast-paced development environment.
